Upcoming Meetings/Events: The GLRCHA Youth Group is selling tshirts and sweatshirts to help raise money for cattle fees. They are avilable at all shows!

Every year the GLRCHA Youth Group donates their time one day in the spring to Maple Vista Nursing Home in Imlay City weeding and raking out their flower beds and planting. They all enjoy doing it and bring their friends to help as well! Herbie the pony is always a big hit too! This is their way of saying thank you to all of those who have donated money to support them.

Dear GLRCHA Youth,

I'm really excited to be on the NRCHYA board! I can sorta help keep all us out east in the loop! Anyways, an important idea we discussed was possibly a Scholarship Fund and Application, to give a $1000 scholarship at the NRCHA World show awards banquet starting next year, to youth for sportsmanship, who hasn’t necessarily won. There would still be the scholarships for 1st and 2nd finishes in the youth classes at the world show as well. They are hoping with all the scholarship opportunities that we can draw in more youth to attend the World show in the future.       

I'll try to keep you up to date on any important topics we might discuss involving the youth.
